BRIAN WESTBROOK STATS
A Pro Bowler in 2004, Westbrook is described by QB Donovan McNabb as 'the ultimate weapon' for his ability to elude defenders as both a running and receiving threat. An explosive player that can make just about anyone miss in the open field, Westbrook currently leads the NFL with touchdowns (5) and ranks fifth in yards from scrimmage (420) despite playing in just three games. An all-around back, Westbrook also leads all running backs in receiving yardage (1,815) and receiving TDs (16) since 2003. He signed a lucrative 5-year contract in 2005 that will keep him in Philadelphia through 2010.

"He's made for big plays." That's how Cowboys coach Bill Parcells described Brian Westbrook. "He can run, catch and I'm sure he could throw if they let him. They can deploy him anywhere on the field and I think it takes a rare player to be comfortable with that."
An explosive player in the run and pass game, Westbrook led the Eagles in rushing yards and receptions in 2005, one year after earning his first Pro Bowl berth. A third-round draft choice in 2002, Westbrook was one of the most decorated players in NCAA Division I-AA history at nearby Villanova. "He's the ultimate weapon," said QB Donovan McNabb. "And talking to guys from other teams about his speed, playmaking ability, agility and the mismatches he creates just solidifies what I'm talking about."
Westbrook earned a lucrative, five-year contract extension in 2005 that will keep him in Philadelphia through 2010.
