Wow! That's all I can say. What a day. I don't even know where to begin. While I was still at my house Brian's publicist, Kita, called and informed me that I'd be getting sideline field passes for the pre-game!! My dad and I left immediately after that call so we could get there as soon as possible. On our way there I received a phone call, the person asked to speak with Mike, and I said that I was him, and he said, "This is Brian Westbrook." AAHHHH, I couldn't believe it! Brian Westbrook called me two hours before the biggest game of the season!!  At the end of the call, I was able to wish him luck before the game, and he said thank you.  This got me even more pumped up for what was sure to be a great day.

Once we arrived at the stadium we got our tickets and our sideline field passes and we stepped onto the field.  I have to say, that was one of the greatest feelings I have ever experienced.  Looking up at the stands filled with people, and being within arms’ reach of every Eagles player was truly breathtaking.  This gave me a great opportunity to take pictures of all the Eagles warming up for the game.  We had to leave the field around 4:00 to head up to our seats.  We had great seats behind the endzone in section 210.  We had a great view of the player introductions, which got everyone riled up.  The game itself was great, and winning the division was even better.  Once the game ended, my dad and I went down into the tunnel next to the locker room and waited for Brian Westbrook to meet up with us.

We finally met up, and I have to admit, I was a little star-struck.  We talked about a few things such as our seats, if it was too cold for me and stuff like that.  Then I congratulated him on the big win and he thanked me for coming.  I was honored that he thanked me for coming, because I was the one who was supposed to be thanking him, which I did.  He was able to sign my jersey, along with my sister’s jersey, and he was happy to take a picture with me.  After I was done talking and meeting him, I couldn’t help but think, “Wow, what a great guy!”

Brian Westbrook is truly a class-act, the kind of player every player in the NFL should be.  When I found out I had won the BWest Best Fan Challenge, I could have only hope it would be as great as it actually was.  I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart, that this was a once in a lifetime experience that will be sure to be on the top of my list as greatest events in my life.  I was honored to work with Brian Westbrook, Brian’s publicist Kita, and bwestbrook.com.  I would like to thank everyone involved in this, because they gave me the best day of my life.
